Measurement Principle of the CM-600d Spectrophotometer
The CM-600d uses the same d/8° integrating sphere optical design as the CM-700d. Dual xenon flash lamps illuminate a Spectralon-coated integrating sphere for perfectly diffuse sample illumination. An 8° detector captures reflected light, which is dispersed by a diffraction grating onto a 35-element photodiode array spanning 360–740 nm.
