CM-600d
The Konica Minolta CM-600d is a portable spectrophotometer with built-in wireless (WLAN) connectivity, designed for untethered color measurement on production floors and in the field. The CM-600d shares the same proven d/8° integrating sphere optics as the CM-700d, delivering excellent inter-instrument agreement and reliable SCI/SCE color data. With its 35-element photodiode array, dual xenon lamps, and wide spectral range (360–740 nm), the CM-600d spectrophotometer provides accurate color measurement for automotive, plastics, coatings, textiles, and food applications. Wireless connectivity enables real-time data transfer to SpectraMagic NX software without cable constraints, increasing productivity and flexibility.

Measurement Principle of the CM-600d Spectrophotometer
The CM-600d uses the same d/8° integrating sphere optical design as the CM-700d. Dual xenon flash lamps illuminate a Spectralon-coated integrating sphere for perfectly diffuse sample illumination. An 8° detector captures reflected light, which is dispersed by a diffraction grating onto a 35-element photodiode array spanning 360–740 nm. The double-beam design compensates for lamp output variation, ensuring stable, repeatable measurements across the instrument's lifetime.
Applications of the CM-600d Spectrophotometer
The wireless CM-600d excels in mobile color measurement scenarios:
Production Floor QC
Wireless data transfer enables operators to measure and transmit color data from any location on the factory floor without returning to a PC station.
Field Measurements
On-site color verification at customer locations, construction sites, or storage facilities.
Incoming Inspection
Quick, wireless color verification of incoming raw materials at the receiving dock.
